Sales Support Specialist - East Region 

Responsible for assisting Direct Sales Representatives with daily business operations including and not limited to writing service agreements, programming and activating cellular phones. Provide continuous education to existing and potential customers on products, accessories, features, pricing plans and roaming information. Traveling required within a multi-county area.

Responsibilities

 

Support Customer Contacts / End Users by:

  • Assisting with account management and maintenance;

  • Knowing account key contacts and the process for handling requests within these accounts

  • Acting as secondary contact for account; facilitating customer phone/service orders

  • Selling and facilitating accessory sales to customers

  • Delivering and training customers on phone, service plans, features and accessories

  • Picking-up and delivery loaners / demos / repaired phones

  • Shipping phones and accessories to customers

  • Facilitating price plan changes.

 

Assist Sales Representatives by:

  • Writing service orders, agreements and addendums

  • Providing all paperwork to Sales Reps in a timely manner, programming and activating phones

  • Processing changes of equipment

  • Assisting Sales Rep with on-sites during conversions

  • Assisting Sales Rep during phone fairs; assisting Sales Rep while they are on vacation or out sick

  • Assisting Sales Rep with new sale delivery and training

  • Mailing / faxing information for the Sales Reps.

 

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle special billing situations

  • Attend Sales meetings

  • Complete training classes as identified by Sales Manager

  • Assist in special projects as assigned by Sales Manager or other duties assigned by management

  • Keep updated on new products, accessories, features, pricing plans and roaming rates.

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous administrative and customer service experience.

  • Have Strong interpersonal skills, enjoy fast paced environment and possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

  • Working knowledge of cellular/paging/PCS/ advanced wireless communication a plus.

  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills required.

  • Self-motivated and detail orientated individual that works well independently and within a team environment.
