Responsible for the
construction of Mobile Telephone Switching Offices (MTSO) and new cell
sites as well as project management of cell site modifications and other
cross functional projects. |

Responsibilities |
|
-
Manage site
construction and connectivity, ensuring appropriate distribution of
workload across the construction process.

Manage the Site
Acquisition activities within the region including lease
negotiation, public relations and zoning, permitting, and planning
activities.

Manage cross
functional project in the areas of new technology deployment, MTSO
infrastructure upgrades and cell site conversions.

Ensure that planned
site modifications (microwave overbuilds, tower analysis, channel
adds, sectorizations, etc) are completed to grow network, improve
network reliability and/or quality

Responsible for
managing capital dollars associated with the construction and site
modification projects.

Ensure all
regulatory and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance before and after projects
are completed.

Manage external
vendors and resources including general contractors, site
development firm and NEPA (National Environment Policy Act)/SHPO
(State Historical Preservation Office) vendors.

Support fellow team
members and cross functional groups. Help drive Dynamic Organization
culture.

Qualifications |
|

5 years of Project
Management experience.

Project Management
certification desired.
-
Bachelors Degree or
equivalent experience
-
Prior experience in
the construction of communication networks required.

Prior experience
with zoning and planning preferred.

Excellent oral and
written communication skills are required

Good presentation
skills required
-
Ability to work in
a competitive, fast environment with multiple priorities
-
Travel required.
