Responsibilities
|
Lead a team of
associates accountable for the SCM process and SDLC tools administration
to support IS releases. Develop roadmap and strategy for evolving the
SCM process and SDLC tools to support software builds, release
management, testing, requirements management and software deployments.
Engage closely with IS stakeholders and users to understand the
technology to be implemented, as well as the standards and methodology
used to ensure a quality process. Appropriately plan and organize
resources to support the deployment of quality releases and tools
administration. Be fully engaged in the on-going development of the
associates on the team as facilitated through dynamic coaching sessions,
goal planning and performance reviews.

Responsibilities |

Manages the team at
a tactical level to insure quality delivery and support of the SCM
process and SDLC tools administration.

Assigns goals and
tasks to staff members, alignment to department-wide goals and IS
strategy.

Engage and align
with other IS groups to coordinate current and future release plans
for the tools and processes we support.

Drives the
resolution and communication of cross-application / organization
issues pertaining to monthly software releases.
-
Ensures that
documentation is appropriately coordinated and communicated with the
relevant technical groups.

Shares / leverages
successful products, processes and best practices across the
organization.

Implements
communication and knowledge sharing process for team members.
-
Assists in
evaluating knowledge-sharing tools and making recommendations for
standard approaches / tools.
-
Contributes to
continuous improvement by leveraging quality improvement
methodologies.

Refines and
enhances technology methodologies and/or standards.
-
Fulfills
departmental requirements in terms of providing work coverage and
administrative notification during periods of personnel illness,
vacation, or education.

Establishes and
maintains working relationships across the technology organization
and Business Operations.

Encourages strong
partnerships with the businesses and other technology team members.

maintains relationships with key vendor partners.

Manage individual

Qualifications |
|
-
BS degree required.
-
SQA Manager: 7 to
10 years of relevant professional work experience. Requires prior
management, supervisory or team leader experiences.

Must have
experience managing a team that supports SCM processes, software
builds and associated tools (ClearQuest, ClearCase).
-
Strong project
management and team management skills e.g. planning, budgetary
control, people management etc.

Some experience
with test methods / tools (Quality Center).
-
Some experience
with requirements management methods / tools (RequisitePro, DOORS).
-
Programming
Experience in C, Perl, VB, Shell.
-
Project Management
and Vendor Management skills.
Relevant
Technical Skills
The SQA Management
