Sales Operations Manager, Project Lead 

On cross-functional marketing and sales projects, the Sales Operations Manager leads and enables the sales organization to deliver an ideal customer experience while achieving strategic objectives and project goals.  This project leader's span of responsibility includes all distribution channels, sales incentive compensation, device management and logistics.  Given a defined project scope, the Manager is accountable for developing sales strategy, technology requirements, business policy/process, implementation approach, and communication.  The Manager serves as a change leader and sales channel advocate while managing time, resources, and scope of the project.  This role requires a unique blend of business acumen and project management skill that manifests itself in a high-impact business leader capable of delivering operational excellence and consistently modeling the behaviors and values of the Dynamic Organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation, communication and implementation of operational processes and procedures to all sales channels across all Regions
  • Responsible for representing sales by providing input and subject matter expertise on enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Implement reporting standards and metrics to ensure standards of excellence
  • Explore, utilize and implement "best practices" across all Regions to foster positive change
  • Communicate system enhancements and troubleshoot issues with customer facing systems ( i.e. CARES & AIM)
  • Facilitate processes that turn market ideas into market initiatives
  • Develop and deliver presentations and/or training programs to small – large groups
  • Support and track follow up processes and issues when new initiatives are introduced to the field
  • Create and/or provide input to training modules for use in Sales and Marketing initiatives
  • Visible field presence required

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of wireless experience required
  • Prior experience in a sales leadership position desired
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills (oral and written)
  • Strong negotiation and change management skills
  • Ability to handle potential adversarial work relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing or related field necessary
