Director Regional Systems Peformance 
Responsibilities

 

The Director of System Performance leads teams responsible for RF design, capacity, optimization, and overallperformance of the RF network. The DOSP works with other departments to create long term network growth plans in order to maximize return on investment and to provide high quality and reliable networks.

 

Responsibilities

 • Drive culture and provide leadership for System Performance team to achieve superior business results.


•Develop strategic plans and direction for the organization that aligns the team with other regional
departments and RSO.


•Review network performance data in support of regional goals and drives corrective action.


• Oversee and support the system performance team to ensure proper design, testing, and operation of network enhancements; to include new site builds, cell modifications, capacity management, and switchenhancements.


• Directs teams responsible for timely resolution of customer trouble tickets, customer complaints, executivecomplaints, and/or any other customer affecting issues.


• Ensures accuracy of executive reporting and communications related to RF Design, Capacity, and System Performance.


• Ensures in-building applications are properly deployed.


• Responsible for delivering optimal performance of the CDMA network through proper design and
integration of antenna and data-fill optimization, hardware and software upgrades, and other system
modifications or upgrades.


• Work with the Regional Leadership team to identify and prioritize new cell site requirements for long range planning of network growth.


• Develops and oversees Capital and Expense budgets, as well as provides input and development to
succeeding year’s budget.

 

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent experience required.


• Masters degree preferred.


• 10-12 years of telecommunications experience is required, with a minimum of 5 years at a managerial level position.


• Ability to build cross-functional teams is required.


• Ability to be a leader who can set and/or implement strategy and course of action, and hold associates accountable for performance, is required.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.


• Experience creating and managing budgets is required.


• Business and Industry acumen required.


• Travel required.
