Lead the strategic
and tactical product lifecycle management of strategic or high priority
company initiatives. Working with the Product Operations team, ensure
the product/service/initiative operates effectively and efficiently and
provides an excellent customer experience with a positive impact on
sales and profitability. The marketing champion/advocate/expert for the
products/services for which they are responsible. Accountable to
delivering P&L goals of the product/service to the company.

Responsibilities |
|

Develop and manage
product lifecycle short and long term strategy, including launch,
maintenance, enhancements, partnerships and end of life.

Create product
positioning and channel strategies.
-
Provide strategy,
direction and goals for merchandising, advertising, point of sale
and marketing communication efforts, including mechanisms to measure
ROI.

Lead
cross-functional teams as appropriate in the preparation,
dissemination and maintenance of associate and customer
communications as it relates to responsible product/service.

Analyze financial
results and take appropriate actions to ensure operational
excellence and achieving annual goals. Develop and execute to key
financial and business targets/metrics.

Develop, analyze &
recommend launch, maintenance and post mortem pricing structures
(including promotional pricing).

Track, analyze and
communicate key metrics.

Through strategy
development, providing direction and goal setting, ensure successful
facilitation of focus groups, surveys and presentation, both pre-
and post launch of new product/system/features in order to gather
feedback for continuous improvement and to stay close to customers.

Successfully
execute go to market, launch, maintenance and close-out marketing
strategies and programs.

Provide content and
direction for training. In some instances, lead development of
training.

Monitor, evaluate
and report on competitive environment (messaging, pricing,
promotions, positioning, etc.) and take necessary actions.

Recognized as the
Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of product/service.
- Coach and
mentor junior members of the Product Management and Marketing team.

deadlines and ensure preparedness for launch or implementation of
products, services or initiatives.

strong administrative and detail oriented skills.
Education and/or professional experience necessary:
· Minimum of 5+
years in product management, product development, sales and/or
marketing.
· Professional
experience within the software or telecommunications industry or with a
wireless voice/data service provider a plus.

BA/BS Marketing,
Business. Technical undergraduate education with business/product
management professional experience will be considered. Preference
to MBA and/or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced
experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, etc.)
